The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is an inspirational event allowing people everywhere to fight back against cancer, both remembering loved ones and celebrating survivors. The Reno/Sparks Relay For Life 2011 will begin Saturday June 4th and end Sunday June 5th, taking place at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School. The relay helps raise funds for The American Cancer Society and also raise awareness to help save lives. It consists of teams of people camping out at local spots such as high schools, fairgrounds, or parks. Each team takes turns having different people walking or running, at all times during the event, which is overnight and can last up to 24 hours.
