The first tip that we have is to use a simple logo. Because embroidery is made with thread, the artwork will need to have less detail that we would be able to do with dtg printing<\/a> or screen printing<\/a>. The lines of the logo are created with thread which is thicker therefore simple designs are best recreated with embroidery. Also, solid colors work much better for embroidery, rather than gradients. It is difficult to simulate a gradient with thread and the results can sometimes look messy, rather than a clean, polished, professional look.<\/p>\n If you want to show off your logo, consider metallic thread or puff embroidery for a more enhanced look!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Smaller is better with embroidery (but not too small)<\/em>. You can weigh down a garment figuratively and literally with too much embroidery. The only exception to this are patches for clubs, sports teams etc. In addition, because thread<\/a> makes thicker lines than other printing types, you will need to have all fonts set to at least 0.25\u201d tall for the final artwork. Smaller and thinner fonts will no longer be readable and can look illegible when sewn on the garments. More sturdy materials such as cotton, canvas, denim and blended materials work well. More delicate or sheer fabrics are less ideal because the process of embroidery could damage the items.
